About Maria Hoeffer, ND

Maria completed four years of post-graduate medical education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, including a one year clinic internship.  She currently holds a California State Naturopathic Physician's license (ND-248) and an Ohio massage therapy license (33.010561).  Before attending naturopathic medical school, she operated her own licensed massage therapy practice in Cincinnati.   She received her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and English Literature from Cornell College.  She taught first grade in Cincinnati for 4 years and has a special interest in working with children.

Maria has pursued her love of homeopathic and energy medicines in further post-graduate training with world-renowned experts, including Jan Scholten, Tanis Day, Caroline Myss, Rajan Sankaran and Alize Timmerman.

Maria is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and uses Advanced Energy Healing techniques.  She teaches all levels of Reiki and is available for group and individual classes.    By using Reiki and Advanced Energy Healing with clients, she facilitates the exploration and healing of their chakras and energy fields.  Because of our innate mind-body-spirit connection, these sessions can lead to healing on all levels.

Professionally, Maria is a member of the Ohio Chapter of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.  She has contributed to several magazine articles and has lectured at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine.  She has also presented at the Ohio Midwives' Alliance annual conference.
